Stephen Brook
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Pert and lightly herbaceous nose. Medium-bodied, supple, easy-going and fresh, but not very nuanced or complex. Pleasant enough but lacks acidity and vigour. Medium length.
Ronan Sayburn MS
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Open rounded full nose, raspberry and creamy hints mixed with cedar and damp tobacco, bright youthful palate, not heavy fruit and density but fresh floral and attractive.
Steven Spurrier
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Dense red, bright and youthful rim, dense blackcurrant nose, really expressive Cabernet fruit, very vigourous and direct and good fleshy ripeness, tannins still there, but oak blended in, and very good wine that will become elegantly expressive as it matures.
