Stephen Brook
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Gently meaty nose, black fruits. Rich and supple, concentrated but four-square, has a touch of sweetness; it could do with more acidity and zest. Medium length and a blunt finish.
Ronan Sayburn MS
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Slightly closed nose but with a dense and ripe coffee scented palate showing chocolate and blackcurrant fruit flavours, long and complex.
Steven Spurrier
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Black-red, dense rim, fragrant black fruits nose, and good blackcurrant Cabernet fruit and true briary firmness, very good depth and already smooth and quite polished, while the fruit remains dense and structured. Still closed in but will be a very good wine long term.
