Stephen Brook
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Sweet intense oaky nose, blackcurrants and some menthol. Medium-bodied, but tight and intense, fruity but linear, with well-judged oak and considerable finesse. It has admirable purity and a lift of acidity on the long finish.
Ronan Sayburn MS
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Good nose, elegant cigarbox and ripe blackfruits, crunchy ripe redberry fruits and fresh acidity, firm tannins, good length and texture.
Steven Spurrier
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Richly concentrated nose with black fruits dominant, quite chunky and rich on the palate, good middle sweetness but rather raw finish, seems a little over-extracted with a thick texture, will become more silky in time.
