Stephen Brook
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Intense savoury blackberry nose, opulent and heady. Very rich and velvety, highly concentrated, an ambitious style with hefty tannins, ample acidity, and good weight of fruit. There’s some detectable alcohol on the finish, which detracts slightly from the harmony of the wine. But it has impressive swagger and persistence. Good length.

Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Ripe open nose, some liquorice and sweet vanilla, summer pudding fruit, soft round tannins and fresh acidity
Steven Spurrier
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Red and black berry fruit still a bit shut in, more open on the palate, rich and even a bit chocolate-y, supple and ripe, perhaps a bit over-ripe, will show quite well in the mid term.
