Comete
Manufacturer:
Rosemary George
Tasting: Languedoc
Medium colour. Some spicey oak and even more so on palate. Oak tannin, vanilla and some fruit, but oak dominates. Where is it going?

Tasting: Languedoc
Deep black-red. Smoky; bonfires on the hillside. Vivid, deep, smoky-minerally Faugeres; very satisfying and true. Another authentic wine of place — the smokiness is almost a different incarnation of the schistous character rather than a direct analogy. I would greatly enjoy drinking this, though it’s not the most ambitious of its peers.

Tasting: Languedoc
Refined, quite mature, cedar and black fruit nose – Bordeaux-like? Soft, attractively ready, and rather delicious wine, which shows more southern character in its apparent ripeness and spice. Crafted with a gentle hand.
