Nos Racines
Manufacturer:
Rosemary George
Tasting: Languedoc
Medium colour, quite a rounded nose. A firm tannic streak with some ripe fruit. A touch stalky on the finish; still youthful and not quite knit together yet.
Andrew Jefford
Tasting: Languedoc
saturated black-red. Relatively inarticulate aromas. Deep, curranty, fresh, lively yet subtle palate of impressive complexity. Rich and full-textured. Very good wine which would have unhitched an even higher score with a little more aromatic finesse.
Simon Taylor
Tasting: Languedoc
Strangely mature nose, muted. Palate shows much more impressive concentration and character, offering vivid black fruit and liquorice. Good solid tannins for keeping too.
