Jadis
Manufacturer:
Rosemary George
Tasting: Languedoc
Quite a firm nose. A bit green on palate, but quite a firm mineral note underneath. Quite tannic, solid and chunky.
Andrew Jefford
Tasting: Languedoc
Very deep, dense black-red. Pure belt leather on the nose. Dense, super-tannic and powerfully extracted on the palate, but a slightly brutal and violent wine. Ambitious but a little more winemaking finesse needed.
Simon Taylor
Tasting: Languedoc
An appealing stage on the nose: primary black fruit, just beginning to develop secondary hints. Supple mouthful of black cherries, a hint of pepper and menthol. Plenty of backing tannins too. Satisfying.
