Dans la Peau
Manufacturer:
Rosemary George
Tasting: Languedoc
Deep colour, quite a solid nose. A touch of spice – some chocolate and vanilla on palate with oak tannins. Quite a firm finish.
Andrew Jefford
Tasting: Languedoc
Saturated, dense black red. Another nose where the exciting black fruits have been over-sexed into sweetness by the corrupting barrique! On the palate, this is terrific wine which is fighting a little with its oak, but the raw materials are superb: stunningly good mineral-infused black fruits.
Simon Taylor
Tasting: Languedoc
Extravagantly oaked. Lots of cassis, not sweet, quite northern Rhone-like but just lacking in finesse.
