Stephen Brook
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Thick, meaty, savoury nose, quite evolved. Broad, lush, full-bodied, but rather heavy and thick, with extracted tannins and an excessive solidity and oakiness. An effortful, chocolaty style that lacks a lightness of touch and finesse. Good length and a very chewy finish.
Ronan Sayburn MS
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Forward sweet slightly stewed nose, weighty chocolate and liquorice palate, big tannins and acidity.
Steven Spurrier
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Nicely concentrated black fruits nose, quite robust richness on the palate and the fruit dominates both tannins and acidity, quite richly textured, and good depth for the future.
