Stephen Brook
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Oaky plummy nose with a light balsamic tone. Very rich, sumptuous, more Napa than Listrac, with hefty tannins and impressive weight of fruit. There’s a trace of alcohol on the aftertaste, but otherwise the wine seems balanced if atypical. Quite good length, but a rather dry and extracted finish.

Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Dark nose, earthy and solid, palate heavy and concentrated, firm tannins and gravelly chocolate mocha palate, quite pure and long.
Steven Spurrier
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Very expressive, quite smoky nose dominated by black fruits, rich concentration on the palate, lots of oak blended in to add to this richness and good acidity on the finish to lend freshness, a robust and fleshy wine that will show well.
