Chateau Ferriere

Tasting: Medoc crus classes 2009
Suave and very ripe black fruits on the nose, but not very nuanced at present. Fairly rich, supple, easygoing, quite concentrated yet lacks some flair and excitement. There’s good acidity to counter the fruit, but it still lacks some drive and persistence. Quie good length and a rather blunt finish.

Tasting: Medoc crus classes 2009
Red fruit bouquet, no particular depth.on the palate insufficient weight of ripe fruit so acidity is too prominent. No real persistence and the oak at this stage is a little discordant.

Tasting: Medoc crus classes 2009
Fine expression of black berry fruits, shows the ripeness of 2009 but is also quite restrained and has a little greenness on the finish, an elegant, quite tight style of Margaux, but the greenness of the tannins is surprising.
