Chateau Rauzan-Gassies
Manufacturer:

Tasting: Medoc crus classes 2009
Lush toasty cassis and blackberry nose, with some vanilla from the oak. Supple and accessible, a touch soft, with plump and attractive fruit, and ample concentration. A lighter style, perhaps, but balanced and reasonably fresh, with integrated tannins on the finish. Good length.

Tasting: Medoc crus classes 2009
Quite prominent red fruit bouquet, redcurrant, raspberry and plum. On the palate the oak is quite to the fore and slightly overpowers the fruit at this stage. Fruit quite sweet but a touch one-dimensional.

Tasting: Medoc crus classes 2009
Good depth of fragrant Cabernet fruit, very expressive and has both vibrancy and vigour while retaining firmness and persistence. Very good depth of fruit and a depth of concentration combined with an energetic vigour that will keep it going for a long time, becoming more Margaux as it matures.
