Single Vineyard
Manufacturer:
Melanie Brown
Tasting: New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc
Intense upfront salty characteristics, overripe pear and quince, good weight and intensity. Complexity comes from barrel ferment and aging and adds subtle nuance of oak intergration.
Roger Jones
Tasting: New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc
Pungent on nose, intense sweet flavours, rich and lingering , opulent. Maybe not what you want or expect from a SB but it is a luscious wine, perfect with blue cheese or lobster with curry spices.
Peter McCombie
Tasting: New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc
Pungent, composty fruit, but oak dominates now. There is good freshness and fruit weight. Interesting to see how this evolves.
