Single Vineyard
Manufacturer:
Peter McCombie MW
Tasting: Marlborough Pinot Noir
Tarry, earthy, leafy, dark red fruit; solid, dark fruit, black cherries, quite fresh, with firm grip, needing a little time to come around. Some ambition.
Christine Parkinson
Tasting: Marlborough Pinot Noir
Floral and cherry notes on nose, leading to strawberry, black cherry and rose character on palate. Lovely silky mouthfeel, with sinewy tannins and fresh acidity. Alcohol feels a little warmer than it is – accentuated by spiciness of wood, perhaps?
Joanna Simon
Tasting: Marlborough Pinot Noir
Very fragrant with sweet red berries and a hint of vanilla. Sweet, fragrant fresh, cherry and strawberry fruit .with delicately spicy oak and good length.
