Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Curious nose, both ripe and blackcurranty and slightly green. Lean, taut, rather hard-edged though doesn’t lack fruit; it’s less green than the nose but the acidity remains sharp without giving the wine much length. I don’t see this developing well. Medium length.

Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Dense smoky oak nose, ripe and bright blackberry and raspberry, pencil shavings and cedar wood. Great nose. Palate firm and less exciting, a little short
Steven Spurrier
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Fine black-red colour with young rim, slightly smoky autumn berry fruit on the nose, ripe and robust on the palate, natural concentration from ripe grapes, some florality, but fruit a bit thick, more earthy than elegant at the moment, but with a good mid-term future.
