Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Slightly medicinal nose, blackcurranty but a touch herbaceous too. Medium-bodied, close to sweet, concentrated and has ample acidity but it remains one-dimensional and almost cooked on the palate. Medium length.
Ronan Sayburn MS
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Meaty, raw earthy nose, quite open and bright berry fruit, graphite and cedar wood. Fresh palate, good blackcurrant fruit and a strong liquorice finish.
Steven Spurrier
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Dense red, purple rim, well-expressed black berry fruit, good supple concentration on the palate, ripe, smooth, well-balanced, not that complex, but a well-made wine and a good modern Medoc.
