Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Sweet fleshy blackberry nose has some lift and elegance. Quite rich and sturdy, concentrated and firm, with big ripe tannins. There’s enough intensity of fruit to cope with the tannins, and this has some weight and complexity too. The structure should assure some longevity. Good length.

Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Nose fine and elegant, wood gives a slight resinous menthol character, palate good but wood dominates.
Steven Spurrier
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Dense fresh red, young rim, well-expressed blackcurrant fruit, good Cabernet but mostly Merlot expression, showing both freshness and depth, a good, classic Medoc with personality and elegance and a good future.
