Stephen Brook
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Stewed nose, plum compote. Quite rich and soft, but also rather heavy and earthy, with chewy tannins on the aftertaste and modest acidity. Sappy and lifeless, with insufficient freshness and lift. Fairly short.
Ronan Sayburn MS
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Fresh bright new oak aromas, polished and classic graphite and cedar medoc style, balanced palate with a good length.
Steven Spurrier
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Deep red, mature rim, full and plummy fruit, quite smooth and rich, but a bit bland and even a bit leathery, ageing quite fast.
