Les Charmes
Manufacturer:
Stephen Brook
Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
Robust buttery nose, quite toasty. Brisk attack, fresh and lean, concentrated but lively. There isn’t much depth of fruit here and it’s somewhat one-dimensional, but this is well balanced and elegant, with just a hint of sweetness on the finish.

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
Notes of hay and smoke on the nose. Palate is dry and has a smoky, yellow spice flavour, with stone fruits underneath. Medium acid and length.
Steven Spurrier
Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
Ripe yellow fruits on the nose and dry honey. Good length on the palate with citrussy elements dominating, good sweet middle fruit. Classic Charmes which will show early and well.
