Charmes
Manufacturer:
Stephen Brook
Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
Dumb nose, quite oaky. Fresh and juicy, but has weight and some depth of fruit, balanced by an attractive bite of acidity. Quite a solid style and not very nuanced or complex.Quite good length, with a slight bitterness on the finish.

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
Discreet nose. The palate is intense and stony with limey notes and good acid. The finish is medium and the oak nicely done.

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
Quite rich, quite herby/honeyed nose, ripe yellow fruits, full and a bit phenolic, but also naturally ripe and lifted by fruit acidity. A little shut in now, but good complexity to come.
