Perrieres
Manufacturer:
Stephen Brook
Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
stone fruits nose with a welcome hint of austerity. Rich, full-bodied, and opulent, with good concentration, but there’s a slight heaviness and lack of vigour. There’s ample upfront fruit but not the minerality one would hope for from Perrieres. Quite long.

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
Creamy nose with smoky oak notes as well. The palate is strong and full bodied with good acidity, and salty minerals; the oak is a bit too dominant right now.

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
Dry herb and dry honey nose, apple and pear fruits blended in. Good ripeness and very good natural sweetness that stays on the palate to finish on a stony minerality. Good wine, good future.
