Clos des Poruzots, Monopole
Manufacturer:
Stephen Brook
Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
Ripe, buttery, appley nose. Fresh, lean, pretty and delicate, not a heavyweight but has charm and finesse, and a bright, tingling, citric finish. Quite good length
Gearoid Devaney
Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
Closed on the nose, with an improvement on the palate. Nutty and complex with good acid.
Steven Spurrier
Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
Fine and complex nose, with florality, yellow fruits and fresh almonds. Good natural ripeness on the palate, even a bit sweet, but all is natural and there is nice acidity on the finish, a well-made, complete wine, not the most complex, but a good Meursault for the mid term.
