Les Genevrieres
Manufacturer:
Stephen Brook
Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
Rather sweet, bruised apple nose. Rich, assertive, full-bodied, weighty, a bit of a heavyweight and lacks some elegance. Despite some tangy acidity, it seems rather hollow and lacking in character. Moderate length
Gearoid Devaney
Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
The nose is focused, with stone fruits, minerality and toned oak. The palate is dry with high acid and stony minerality, lots of texture and white fruits with a long, saline finish. Lots of potential here.

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
Quite full and rich nose, honeyed and quite evolved,. Equally rich on the palate, the honey is still there and there is good natural acidity to hold it, but the terroir of Genevrieres is a bit dominated by the phenolic richness.
