Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Inky, savoury nose, a bit gamey for a young wine. Quite rich and sleek, concentrated, with big ripe tannins and sufficient acidity to balance the weight of fruit. Perilously close to having an alcoholic burn on the finish but just steers clear of it. But it’s still a big heady style with more power than finesse. Quite good length.

Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Forward nose, wet rock and pencil lead, big tannins solid palate, quite heavy.

Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Fine fragrant Cabernet-dominated black berry nose, very good expression of ripe, concentrated fruit, good depth and structure, will be very good long term, but a bit four-square now.
