Plantagenet
Manufacturer:
Andrew Jefford
Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay
Pale gold. Strange scents of jelly bean and malt; not unpleasant, but not classic either. Juicy, sweet-edged, again slightly malty on the palate, lacking the vinous development you hope for in a gastronomic Chardonnay. But a fun wine nonetheless.
Roger Jones
Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay
Citrus and passion fruit on nose, refreshing on palate with tropical fruits, offering a fantastic wine to go with Asian Food or Japanese food, clean fresh finish, although not a huge finish, it is precise delicate and fruit driven at the end.
Alessandro Marchesan
Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay
White peaches and apricots on the nose, pure, clean and crisp with creamy texture and long tropical fruit character. Long simple bright aftertaste. A tropical fruit and melon salad!
