Stephen Brook

Tasting: Napa & Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon

Opulent blackcurrant nose, very ripe but not jammy. Rich, suave, full-bodied and generous lashings of ripe fruit balanced by quite good acidity. The alcohol seems a bit high but there’s enough fruit to cover it. There’s admirable energy here and good weight of fruit. Quite good length and a lively finish.

Yohann Jousselin MS

Tasting: Napa & Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon

Very ripe, alcohol too high, lots of cooked black fruits.

David Motion

Tasting: Napa & Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon

Notes of coffee bean and cherries in the nose. Oaky. Dense concentrated sweet fruit. Rich and sweet. Soft tannins.Classic Cali Cab in the modern style. Immediate appeal.
