Chateau Lynch-Moussas
Manufacturer:
Stephen Brook
Tasting: Medoc crus classes 2009
Oaky cassis nose, refined and discreet. Medium-bodied but very concentrated and sleek. Tightly wound and not that expressive now, but it has good depth of fruit, and plenty of grip derived from ripe tannins. Has elegance rather than power.

Tasting: Medoc crus classes 2009
Slightly green, grassy notes on the nose. Short of ripeness on the palate, red fruit rather than black, rather disappointing at this stage. Tannins a bit harsh and acidity a little out of kilter with the fruit.

Tasting: Medoc crus classes 2009
Deep and quite elegant Cabernet cassis fruit. Already a certain maturity both on colour and palate, good fruit, a little stewed and could have more lift for this vintage, but the depth is good.
