Vigna Le Masserie, Superiore
Manufacturer:
Andrea Bricarello
Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Tannic and intense with little fruits to support the wine. Stewed plums and cherry jam. Brisk acidity and short on the finish

Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Very deep red. Muted nose, with a lot of oak glowering in the background. Rich, suave, concentrated, very tannic but not harsh, and the acidity contributes spice and vigour. Quite peppery and has good length, if a rather tarry finish.
Ian D'Agata
Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Deep ruby. Brooding nose of red cherry almond flowers and violets. Then rich and suave with good definition to the bright red fruit flavours but plenty of oak too. Needs time.
