Andrea Bricarello

Tasting: Barbera d’Alba

Pomegranate and red flowers notes followed by cherry and a whiff of balsamic. Earthy mid palate followed by dry tannins. A solid wine with savoury long aftertaste.

Stephen Brook

Tasting: Barbera d’Alba

Deep red. Spicy nose, with cherry aromas and a light but attractive herbaceous edge. Fairly rich, suave, concentrated, with plenty of spice and lift. It’s compact and fresh and though lacking depth, is balanced and satisfying. Quite long.

Ian D'Agata

Tasting: Barbera d’Alba

Bright ruby-red. Sweet spicy red berry and cherry fruit on the nose. Then fresh and suave, with good delineation of its red cherry and spicy flavours on the long juicy finish. A tad of alcohol at the back, but you’ll hardly notice with food.
