Andrea Bricarello

Tasting: Barbera d’Alba

Dark and seductive nose of dark chocolate and spices. Mineral and earthy with fresh vibrant acidity and pure juicy notes in the aftertaste. elegant yet complex and well balanced wine

Stephen Brook

Tasting: Barbera d’Alba

Very deep red. Spicy nose, a touch leathery, but quite vibrant, with kirsch fruit. Rich, sumptuous, full-bodied, ripe and concentrated, with a lush texture and sufficient balancing acidity to give a tangy, lively finish. It’s not hugely complex, but it has some tension and persistence.

Ian D'Agata

Tasting: Barbera d’Alba

Garnet-rimmed red. Very floral nose (peony, gardenia, lavender) with hints of strawberry-rhubarb. Then bright and fragrant on the palate as well, with lovely fruit and floral qualities that last. Not a blockbuster but a pretty wine.
