Jammy and cooked fruit first impressions. dark plums and confit wild berries. Compact and chunky body. earthy aftertaste

Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Opaque red. Sweet cherry nose, a touch jammy, with a light mocha tone. Rich and suave, concentrated and full-bodied, with firm acidity to balance the ripe fruit. A but awkward now but needs time to harmonise. Good length.

Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Deep ruby-red. Sexy oak dark cherry and raspberry. Long and with plenty of tannic bite and slightly drying mouthfeel at the back. Could use less oak and more fruit.
