Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Reductive nose and palate .needs lot of air

Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Opaque red. Muted plummy nose, a bit rubbery. Broad and fleshy, with good concentration and density. It’s spicy, savoury, and a bit gawky in its acidity, and has surprising tannins on the finish. Quite long.
Ian D'Agata
Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Bright ruby. Fragrant red berry, cherry and sweet spices on the nose, complicated by herbs and flint. then clean and fresh, with an austere quality to the red fruit and berry flavours. Long, serious wine, with a peppery twinge at the back.
