Mugiot
Manufacturer:
Andrea Bricarello
Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Feminine notes of roses, with hints of liquorice and caramelized plums. Earthy on the palate with beetroot and dark spices character. Maraschino cherry on the aftertaste. Well balanced and round.

Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Deep red. Slightly rubbery black cherry nose, smoky, brooding. Sleek but rather light, with modest acidity and little grip; the texture is a bit flat for Barbera and it lacks zest. The finish is spicy and quite long but the wine lacks excitement.
Ian D'Agata
Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Deep ruby. Super ripe, balsamic aromas of plums and stewed blackberries have a slightly earthy note. Then inky and saline on the palate with oaky flavours dominating somewhat earthy fruit. Not enjoyable: tries too hard to be something it’s not, and can’t be.
