San Stefanetto
Manufacturer:
Andrea Bricarello
Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Portish nose, slightly oxidative and very intense. Surprisingly the palate is very fresh and balanced with subtle red fruits and uplifting acidity.

Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Opaque red. Sweet oaky nose, with a raw edge that’s not unappealing and gives some cut. Rich and suave, but has the same light green streak as the nose. the acidity is very high for such a ripe wine, and there’s some alcohol on the finish. This is over the top in most departments, and the finish oaky and extracted too.

Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Deep red. Super ripe red cherry and raspberry jam on the nose. then sweet and luscious with peppery red cherry and strawberry jam notes on the rich spicy finish. made in a luscious style not shy on alcohol but there’s enough creamy fruit here and vibrant acidity not to make this taste over-the-top.
