Punset
Manufacturer:
Andrea Bricarello
Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Very intense structured nose. vibrant cherry and cranberries undertones and a touch veggie. Rich layers of red currant and blueberries on the palate. The alcohol is well integrated and offers body rather than heat! Quite savoury and rustic on the finish.

Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Deeper blackberry/plum. Full, cordial fruit aromas, slightly over-ripe. Medium weight round and juicy with highish alcohol though some fragrance to finish.

Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Deep purple-ruby; very Barbera colour. Deep, impressively pure, fruity very ripe dark plums on the nose with hints of sweet spices and minerals. Then rich and ripe, with pure black berry and plum flavours that last and last with lively acidity that will have you salivating long after the first glass. Though this finishes with mounting dry tannins and hints at overipeness on the nose, it’s an impressive Barbera that will probably improve greatly both with time and with food.
