Madonna di Como
Manufacturer:
Andrea Bricarello
Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Fragrant cherry notes with whiffs of wild game. savoury and rustic on the palate. Sweet spices and juicy mid-palate. Very well balanced with crunchy red berries. Pure fruits on the back palate supported by a long lasting cherry finish.

Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Very deep red. Rich smoky nose, oaky, seductive black fruits. Rich, concentrated, quite chewy though the texture is essentially suave, has some grip from the oak as well as good acidity. This has some structure and complexity, and should age well. Good length.
Ian D'Agata
Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Medium ruby-red. Simple red fruit aromas. Then also simple on the palate, with modest amounts of fruit and length. Needs food to gain flesh and interest.
