Classique de Clairmont
Manufacturer:
Stephen Brook
Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Ripe plummy nose, stylish oak. Sumptuous, full-bodied, very much in the modern-style, concentrated and generous, with evident oak and torrefied flavours. Has structure and length.

Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Blackberry and morello nose, with spice as a gentle backdrop; palate firm with quite chewy if precocious tannins, balanced acidity and quite a kick on th e finish. A flamboyant preening example, with very fine fruit at its core.
John Livingstone-Learmonth
Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Stewed, high raspberries aroma, sweet spice and a hint of opulence, earthy notes that suggest decanting a good idea. Palate is floral in nature, with its soft black fruit subdued, low on lift. Quiet tannins are meshed into it, so the finish has width, is stable, length OK. Prune juice on aftertaste. Regular Crozes.
