Domaine des Lises
Manufacturer:
Stephen Brook
Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Burly nose, quite gamey, some reduction. Rich and plump, with a lot of tannin for the fruit. Has a slight coarseness and it’s far from nuanced. Moderate acidity and length.
Simon Field MW
Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Youthful colour, forthright aromatic of violet, leather and hot-house plant; palate is sweet, floral and mineral notes maintaining integrity with a finely etched tannic backdrop; seductive gratification, with substance behind it; who could want more?
John Livingstone-Learmonth
Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Menthol-liquorice front air, coffee, dark fruit, fruit a bit mysterious, in behind, latent earthiness. Supple, juicy, fleshy black fruit flavours, absorbed tannins, 2010 roundness in them. Tar exit. Bit thin in its later stages.
