Domaine du Colombier
Manufacturer:

Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Oaky nose, with a hint of herbaceousness. Medium-bodied, supple, quite sleek, has some lift and charm as well as discreet tannins on the finish. Decent wine but doesn’t quite add up. A bit lazy and simple. Moderate length.

Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Clumsy slightly reduced nose, bitter chocolate and figs thereunder; palate is broad, precious yet quite impressive, a benchmark Crozes, aware of its own limitations and also of its latent appeal; this one will appeal in the medium term.

Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Mocha, menthol, slight reduction on nose, pronounced ripeness oak mixed up. Scented fruit leads the palate, with a generous matter present, gives it flesh. Decant OK for this. Fruit continues well. Oak aftertaste now.
