Terres d'Arce
Manufacturer:
Stephen Brook
Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Muted nose, quite oaky. Rich but fluid, lacks some concentration and grip, and the tannins are rather dry. Moderate acidity and length. Robust but charmless and close to bitter.
Simon Field MW
Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Dense colour, with cassis, raspberry coulis and a hint of spice evidenced; this generosity is carried on to the palate, with a heady somewhat indulgent mid-palate and rather a hot-house atmosphere on the finish.
John Livingstone-Learmonth
Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Full; smoky, roasted air, oak lies above a juicy black berry fruit, nose is an ensemble. Palate mixes fruit, tannins and freshness. Can develop, is austere, shade pinched. From mid 2013 to round the end.
