Les Picheres

Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Brisk cherry nose, hint of red fruits too. Medium-bodied, slight, juicy but lacks concentration and energy. Good acidity brings freshness and some persistence, but there’s little depth. Moderate length.

Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Full colour, ruby with full dark core. Nose a little mute with hints of green; plate is quite foursquare, the generous core of red-berried fruit enrobed with supple but somewhat innocuous tannins; the finish lacking the gratitude owed to the vintage.

Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Bouquet has depth, layers of black fruit, style, width: promising, potential, not fully open. Palate holds savoury black fruit, which lasts well, is textured. Drinks well, gourmand style. Ends with a light mineral click, good.
