La Tour Coste, Chevalier Louis
Manufacturer:
Stephen Brook
Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Muted black cherry nose. Fairly light, sleek, straightforward, attractive acidity, but a lean and rather pinched style that lacks generosity of fruit. The finish is blunt. Overall it plays safe and lacks excitement.

Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Nose is a shade medicinal, with hints of resin, fig and graphite. Quite chewy tannins yet agreeably ripe fruit and resolved tannins. Nice length and structural integrity.

Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Linear black cherry aroma, hardly got out of its shell yet, can do that, though. Palate bears a salty noted black fruit, with fair freshness to help its finish. Direct style of Crozes, can do a bracing solo drink or grills. Decent length.
