Les Brunnelles
Manufacturer:
Stephen Brook
Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Muted black fruits nose. Medium-bodied, rather slack and undemanding, pleasant fruit but little structure or complexity. But it’s fresh and balanced. Light tannins on the finish. Modest length.
Simon Field MW
Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Youthful slightly resinous nose; confit and hints of graphite and garrigue; palate has pleasing shape, with linearity and fine balancing acidity; a little more concentration in the middle would propel it to the top echelons, but even so, agreeable.
John Livingstone-Learmonth
Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Spice, incense air, black stone fruit, a drift of violet in behind. Palate is supple on attack, tastes ready, and offering as much fruit and ease as it can now. Short-term Crozes, drinkable. Salty, mocha late notes.
