Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Stylish oaky nose, smoky black fruits. Suave, rounded, plump, but has plenty of grip and quite good acidity too. Lightly structured without undue extraction. But it’s slightly glib, raffish, and undemanding too. Good but not great. Quite good length.

Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Black fruit with hints of leather, soot and earth; the palate is quite broad and indulgent, its overworking manifested in rather firm drying tannins and a rather hot fruit character.

Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Innocuous nose – low lying black fruit, a primrose flower edging to it, with liquorice. Cautious, restricted start to the palate, seems never to quite dictate its terms. I find a dilute aspect after half way, a fade in this. Limited.
