Vieilles Vignes
Manufacturer:
Stephen Brook
Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Rich blackberry nose, splendid fruit. Sumptuous without being heavy, very concentrated, with a lot of spice and pepper. Has admirable typicity and discreet power. Delicious fruit and no rough edges. Good length.
Simon Field MW
Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Spicy black fruit nose with a medicinal character, which is slightly resinous; palate is a little drying, almost over-extracted thus undermining the potential purity of its fruit character.
John Livingstone-Learmonth
Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Toasted, oak pistachio nut airs, oak a touch green, black berry fruit inside. Strong charcoal, clumsy oaking on the palate, not sure about this, lacks integration, Cellar dominated wine, the poor old vineyard is second best.
