Vidal-Fleury
Manufacturer:
Stephen Brook
Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Sweet ripe blackcurrant nose, atypical but charming. Quite rich and plump, a bit soft despite the light tannins, a forward accessible style, though it also shows fine acidity and finesse. Well balanced and harmonious.

Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Youthful nose and rather oxidised and drying on the palate; hopefully an atypical example, drawn in a hurry from the cask.
John Livingstone-Learmonth
Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010
Near excess ripeness aroma – black raisin, African continent fruits, rum cake. Big style debut to palate, weighty, with a soupy home run, a wine that lacks brisk appeal. Suited to winter drinking, full flavours. Sweet noted aftertaste, dates and spices of a sweet Asian nature there. Decent length. Power style of wine.
