Xión
Manufacturer:
Ferran Centelles
Tasting: Albariño
Quite light in aromas. Well made but lacking concentration and length.
John Radford
Tasting: Albariño
Pale straw. Some dark, smoky fruit with hints of ‘gooseberry bush’. Very clean, crisp and fresh, but the fruit is a little ‘dark’ and seems to be ‘hiding’ behind the acidity. Needs another six months in bottle.
Sarah Jane Evans MW
Tasting: Albariño
Subtle, creamy, lightly peachy. Punch of freshness leads the palate, and dominates the wine. Lacks the fruit to soften.
