Manufacturer:
Rosemary George
Tasting: Languedoc
Quite deep colour. Notes of truffle and a touch of oak on palate. Quite rounded with a streak of tannin and alcohol on finish.
Andrew Jefford
Tasting: Languedoc
Deep, dense black red. Rather chilly, herbaceous, inky-oak aromas. Rich and full, but oak-spoiled; it eclipses the lighter, more fugitive garrigue scents. A generous and ambitious wine with some excellent qualities, but finally not quite aesthetically successful.
Simon Taylor
Tasting: Languedoc
Cooked aromas – but much more intresting on the palate, vigorous, very ripe, strawberries and blackberries,
