Grande Reserve
Manufacturer:
Rosemary George
Tasting: Languedoc
Deep colour, quite rounded ripe spicy nose and palate. Garrigues and Midi sunshine – a harmonious balance.
Andrew Jefford
Tasting: Languedoc
Dark, deep black red. Lively, fresh sweet blackcurrants; a little wildflower freshness, too. Vivid, poised, thrusting; lots of sleek, poised blackcurrant fruit and vivacious Syrah perfumes (orange blossom and orange oils). Touch of Syrah-smokiness too. Faintly linear finish, with the oak forming a slighly fatty coating on the palate, but overall a very impressive wine of arresting concentration and style.
Simon Taylor
Tasting: Languedoc
Red fruit with some savoury hints on the nose. Some of that meatiness on the palate too, along with refreshing bite. Just a little cooked
