Absolue
Manufacturer:
Rosemary George
Tasting: Languedoc
Deep colour, quite a firm structured nose and a rounded ripe sweet oaky palate, with a green streak – rather ripe and sweet and quite appealing.
Andrew Jefford
Tasting: Languedoc
Dark black-red. Lovely fresh, spiced citrus; copious Cologny freshness. Splendid aromas: utterly charming. Rich, amply textured, vivaciously fruited wine with lovely tobacco and herbal complexities to it. Not a ‘serious’ or a ‘profound’ wine, but pure delight to smell; pure delight to drink: bravo.
Simon Taylor
Tasting: Languedoc
Obvious primary fruit character. Blackcurrants and blueberries. One-dimensional
